Blue Eyes Loose Leaf tea has a caramel character that gives a sweet flavor to this herbal tea. Blue Eyes Tea is a caffeine-free tea that is excellent served iced.
Origin: Blend of various dried fruits and herbs from Canada, USA, Thailand, and Spain.
Ingredients: Hibiscus petals, rosehip chips, dried apple pieces, dried sweet orange peel, cornflower petals and natural flavours.
Hot tea brewing: Place 1 1/2 to 2 tsp of tea per cup (add 1 tsp to the pot). Pour in boiling water and steep for 5-7 min. Add sugar if desired. Do not add milk as it will curdle due to the blend of ingredients.
Cold tea brewing: Do not pour hot liquid directly into the Glass Pitcher. Makes 1L. Put 12-15 tsp of Blue Eyes into a heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep 5-7 minutes or longer. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into the pitcher while straining the ingredients. Add ice and top up with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
