This teapot comes in hotel grade silverware manufactured in India. The silverplate specification is 8-12 microns compared to normal silverplate houseware of 3-5 microns.
When returning the teapot to the upright position allow the tea to "sit" for 30 seconds or so giving the steeped tea an opportunity to drip down into the pot.
