A character described as elemental. The tea leaves come from the Dayeh variety closely related to the original tea tree.

Origin: China

Ingredients: China pu-erh tea

Hot tea brewing: Bring water to a rolling boil. Place 1 tsp of tea per cup into the teapot. Pour water to cover the leaves- pour water off- you are rinsing the tea. Next pour boiling water into the teapot over the 'rinsed' leaves. Allow to steep for 3-7 min. You may add milk and sugar but this tea is usually not prepared this way.
